Subject: Does a woman know best?

What if we found a new way to talk about reproductive rights that would resonate with the next generation of potential supporters -- especially young women and women of color?

That was the question the California Council for Reproductive Freedom (www.cacrf.org) set out to answer, when the experience of many of our members told us that the existing framework of the pro-choice movement needed retooling to be more inclusive and relevant to women’s lives and experiences.

An intensive literature review, stakeholder interviews, and many focus groups later, we developed a new framework for talking about reproductive rights we call “A Woman Knows Best.”

We invite you to see a short, two-minute multimedia “ad” about the frame by clicking here: www.awomanknowsbest.org

It’s our hope that our allies will use “A Woman Knows Best” to advance their own work in women’s health, social justice and other related fields. For more information about this project, please visit www.cacrf.org. And please forward this message to a colleague or friend!
